We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Subsystems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining RF and EE-related system and subsystem level requirements and interface specifications.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain RF and EE-related system and subsystem level requirements and interface specifications with a focus on decomposing higher level systems requirements into RF subsystem requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in RF / EE integration, verification and validation, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
- Lead technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Lead technical conversations with the customer and suppliers.
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of experience in systems engineering, RF sensor sub-systems, algorithms and signal processing, electronics, or an Advanced STEM degree and minimum five (5) years of professional experience in these domains.
- Experience performing requirements definition, decomposition, and changes.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Understanding of and experience across the Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.
- Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance.
- Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including experience giving technical briefs or presentations.
- Work experience in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python.
