Echocardiogram Technician

Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Echocardiogram Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary Department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting physicians with complex ultrasound procedures.

• Use ultrasound technology to visualize internal cardiac structures and obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atrium.
• Assist physicians with echocardiogram procedures, including TEE testing.
• Promote the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through effective management of clerical functions, document handling, and interpersonal relationships.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
• EKG rhythm analysis/interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
• ARDMS or CCI credential required.
