Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Echocardiogram Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary Department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting physicians with complex ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities- Use ultrasound technology to visualize internal cardiac structures and obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricles, and left atrium.
- Assist physicians with echocardiogram procedures, including TEE testing.
- Promote the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through effective management of clerical functions, document handling, and interpersonal relationships.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
- EKG rhythm analysis/interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
- ARDMS or CCI credential required.
