Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bartender with outstanding communication abilities to craft traditional cocktails and innovative drinks for our patrons. The Bartender will welcome guests, understand their preferences, provide information, suggest menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food.

Role Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
  • Comply with state laws regarding alcohol service.
  • Communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace.
  • Perform basic math and handle cash transactions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including standard drink recipes.
  • Stand for extended periods, sometimes up to 10 hours.
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Engage with guests to ensure a quality experience.
  • Gather information about specials and side work from management at the start of shifts.
  • Understand and adhere to company bar standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to company recipes.
  • Foster relationships with regular customers.
  • Process payments and manage transactions accurately.
  • Ensure cleanliness of glassware and bar area.
  • Assist in restocking bar supplies as needed.
  • Follow uniform guidelines and maintain personal appearance.
  • Memorize layout and service procedures.
  • Stay informed about common drink trends and recipes.
  • Exhibit friendliness and strong communication skills.
  • Remain organized and respond effectively to challenges.
  • Maintain composure in busy situations.
  • Display enthusiasm and persuasive selling skills.
  • Be attentive to customer needs and timing.
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Requirements:

Understanding of guest relations, bar standards, liquor, beer, and wine knowledge, POS operation, side work responsibilities, recipes, mixology, menu familiarity, and local and state alcohol laws.
