The Archdiocese of Denver Management Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform all work orders assigned to maintenance for the Church and School
- Oversee the ordering of consumable goods and materials needed to complete work orders
- Supervise and perform daily, weekly, and monthly task lists
- Obtain quotes for high-dollar machinery and projects
- Ensure all interior and exterior mechanical systems are working properly
- Remove snow from all sidewalks around all buildings
- Clean carpets as needed
- Wax and polish vinyl floors as needed
- Fix any equipment not working
- Order material and parts as needed
- Get quotes for high-priced items or services
- Reconcile and submit all maintenance bills for payment
- Ensure the complex grounds are clean and safe
- Supervise volunteers for projects
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree or equivalent
- 5 years of construction or equivalent knowledge
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Personal characteristics: able to work with children, use professional language, be a team player
- Certifications: New Employee Safety Orientation, Defensive Driver, Asbestos Awareness, Hazard communication, Safety Data Sheets, Bloodborne Pathogen, Safe Environment Training (SET)
