The Adult Day Program Assistant will work closely with colleagues to provide direct care to clients, teach various classes, lead activities, and ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of those participating. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
As an Adult Day Program Assistant at Hattie Larlham, you can expect a safe and enjoyable work environment, competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, and access to your earned wages prior to pay day. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as health insurance eligibility starting on the 1st of the month after hire, affordable medical plan options, life insurance at no cost to you, and a generous employer match retirement program.
The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, with no weekends required. Qualifications include a minimum of a high school education diploma or equivalent, a valid Ohio driver's license with less than six points, and the ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
