Shift Details:
9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Role Overview:
The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional support and service by collaborating with the distribution team. This includes responsibilities in receiving, storage, and order processing, while also aligning with our organizational Lean initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispatch outbound shipments and manage incoming products.
- Maintain expertise by engaging with ERP system transactions related to tasks.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving tasks that meet performance benchmarks.
- Ensure a safe and organized workspace by keeping all areas tidy.
- Prepare necessary documentation for hazardous material shipments.
- Manage Bills of Lading and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
- Uphold quality service by adhering to company standards.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- This is a journeyman level position.

Working Conditions:
- Exposure to varying temperatures (warm in summer, cool in winter).
- The work environment may include noise, dust, and other particles.
- Operation of heavy machinery and equipment (e.g., forklifts).

Safety Protocols:
- Compliance with all safety regulations as mandated by the organization and OSHA.
- Proper handling and labeling of hazardous materials as per policy.
- Required safety gear includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and vests when in the warehouse or operating machinery.

Physical Demands:
- Regular lifting of items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Involves material handling and loading/unloading tasks.
- Ability to withstand varying climate conditions, prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and climbing ladders.

Required Skills:
- Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good mathematical abilities.
- Experience with power equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Commitment to integrity, innovation, and maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
