Job Title: Family Service Coordinator

Save the Children is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Family Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting families participating in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement family-centered services to support families in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
  • Conduct home visits and provide ongoing support to families, focusing on building trusting relationships and empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with program team members and community partners to identify and address family needs, and develop strategies to promote family self-sufficiency and stability.
  • Document all family development services to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and best practices, and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in family and child development, early childhood development, social work, or a related field.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite and written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of administration, budgeting, purchasing systems management, and public relations skills.
  • Proven ability to exercise professional judgment and evaluation before making decisions.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, children, parents, and outside agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English)
  • Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
