At BioLife Plasma Services, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our donors. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our donors.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety and the safety of our team.
- Screen donors and take vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate donor compensation and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 32 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
