About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Children's Therapy Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to children with developmental delays or disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessment tools to identify areas of strength and weakness in children's physical abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child, with a focus on promoting functional independence and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records, including progress reports and recommendations for future care.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Order and obtain necessary orthotics, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment to support children's physical needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in pediatric physical therapy.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Washington.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities, preferably in a pediatric rehabilitation setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
