Service Technician

The Service Technician is a key member of our team at Lakes Region Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

• Lead and manage service teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs
• Perform complex service jobs, including on-call duties, with minimal assistance
• Train and develop other employees on service-related topics, including call-back prevention and servicing tips
• Conduct point-of-work sales of Indoor Air Quality services and unit components
• Develop lead referrals for sales staff and conduct non-service work in support of the Indoor Air Quality and Installation Departments
• Assist the Service Manager with administration, dispatching, and on-site evaluation work

• High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction
• Five or more years of successful and full-time HVACR experience
• Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions
• Physical ability to perform all duties under various conditions and extreme weather
• Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing HVACR skills through self-study and company training
• Current NH or equal operator's license and NH gas service license
• Ability to work under pressure and meet customer needs
