As a Signals Collector/Analyst in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing enemy communications to support mission success. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and reporting hostile signals, and providing real-time intelligence to leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain signal intelligence equipment, including intercept devices and electronic intelligence collection systems
- Analyze and record target communications, using techniques such as spectrum analysis and waveform identification
- Prepare and submit detailed reports and logs, summarizing findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate intelligence into operational planning and decision-making
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of radio equipment and electronic systems, with ability to learn and adapt quickly
You will receive comprehensive training in signal intelligence and analysis, including both classroom instruction and hands-on experience with advanced equipment and systems. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this critical role, and provide a solid foundation for a civilian career in government agencies such as the National Security Agency, the FBI, and the CIA.
