About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatry Specialist to join our team at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Description
  • Provide assessment and consultation services to individuals referred by physicians, counselors, agencies, and other referral services.
  • Collaborate with Carilion care teams and external professionals to develop appropriate patient treatment plans and placement.
  • Ensure that patients are placed in settings that provide the appropriate level of care and resources for their individual needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Psychology or Social Work required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Psychiatry or mental health agencies required.
  • De-escalation training must be successfully completed within four months of hire and then maintained going forward.
  • Able to obtain AHA BLS-HCP certification.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per yearBenefits
