The Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Nurse (ANM) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing nursing care that meets the unique needs of each patient and their family.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Assume responsibility for the overall coordination and integration of patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, and infection control, with a focus on preventing complications and promoting patient safety.
- Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Education:
- Minimum: Graduate of an RN Program
- Preferred: BSN
- Experience:
- Minimum: 1 year nursing experience in unit of expertise
- Preferred: Management experience
- Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS, PALS & NRP required
