Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced roofing service technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures, inspecting roofs, and ensuring safety precautions are in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures for safe access to rooftops.
  • Inspect roofs to determine the best repair or replacement procedure, ensuring materials fit tightly along edges and around chimneys, vents, gutters, and walls.
  • B build roofs using various materials and tools, delivering projects within timelines and inspects damages to estimate costs of labor.
  • Repair or replace broken materials, removing debris from rooftops and smoothening roof surfaces with cement.
  • Ensure roofs protect buildings from weather conditions, such as rain or snow, using hand tools and equipment like scaffold and ladder.
  • Follow safety rules, set up vapor barriers and vents, install insulation and solar energy systems, and clean up and break down sites.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work at heights. Prior experience in roofing is preferred but not required.
