Position Overview

The Warehouse Cleaner/Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the bailer to manage waste materials.
  • Ensure that production lines and warehouse floors are clear of cardboard and other waste.
  • Assist in the manual loading and unloading of trucks and pallets.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles to maintain a clean workspace.
  • Keep restrooms well-stocked and hygienic at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in break areas on a daily basis.
  • Utilize the sweeper as necessary to uphold cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Job entails frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
  • Must be capable of standing for extended periods during shifts.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the seasons.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs, sometimes with short notice.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Dependability and teamwork are essential qualities.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
