Job Title: Antenna Test Engineer

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector is seeking an experienced Antenna Test Engineer to join our Test Engineering Team in Sykesville, MD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to design and develop test equipment for phased array testing in a Nearfield Antenna Range. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, software development, and Department of Defense (DoD) active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test equipment for phased array testing
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
  • Analyze test data and identify early trends
  • Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
  • Sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in science, engineering, or other STEM-related discipline
  • 2 years of experience (0 years with a Masters) in electrical and/or RF test equipment, software development, and Department of Defense (DoD) active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Ability to work 2ND SHIFT, which starts around 3pm
