Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physical therapist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. As a physical therapist with Amedisys, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing patient-centered care in the comfort of their own homes.

• Help patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations, modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• Current CPR certification.
