The primary role of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is to enhance client outcomes and facilitate collaboration with ABA services. You will be responsible for creating and executing tailored treatment plans for your assigned clients, ensuring high standards of clinical quality, ethical practice, and successful client outcomes. Key Responsibilities of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

  • Design and implement individualized SLP programs for assigned clients.
  • Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress in accordance with professional standards.
  • Maintain a caseload of 35-40 sessions or 25 billable hours weekly.
  • Ensure programming is ethical, personalized, and delivered with integrity.
  • Update progress reports for clients consistently.
  • Document all activities in compliance with professional and funding guidelines.
  • Stay informed on the latest professional literature and best practices.
  • Drive coordination of care with ABA and Speech services.
  • Engage with parents of clients and conduct caregiver training sessions.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our services.
  • Present clinical information to staff to enhance collaboration and skill development.
  • Participate in clinical staff and collaboration meetings.
  • Promote Bierman Autism Centers within the community.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • State Licensure.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in collaborative team environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven time management abilities and capability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
