Job Title: Web Architect

BJU Education Group is seeking a highly skilled Web Architect to join our team. As a key member of our e-commerce platform development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective user experiences across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop user interfaces and user experiences for our e-commerce platforms
  • Write high-quality, efficient code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with designers and subject matter experts to implement best practices and site analytics
  • Ensure websites are accessible across multiple platforms, including laptops and smartphones
  • Test and troubleshoot websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
  • Develop and maintain a team of web developers to support the growth of our e-commerce platforms
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in website programming languages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in building and developing a team in the area of web design
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to understand business needs and find technical solutions
  • Solution-oriented with programming skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
  • Ability to monitor customer usage and buying patterns and make recommended site changes
  • Understanding of the implementation of third-party scripts and overseeing them
  • Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools

As a born-again Christian, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines. You must also maintain a conservative lifestyle and support the group's positions on issues such as beverage alcohol and addictive substances, creation, marriage and human sexuality, and the sanctity of life. You must be an active member of a local Bible-believing church that holds orthodox theology.
