Key Responsibilities:
- Engage collaboratively with engineers and fellow survey professionals on civil engineering projects, site development, and transportation-related designs.
- Contribute to various projects, including roadways, airports, railroads, drainage systems, and site development initiatives.
- Oversee and direct the activities of field crews to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of boundary research and field surveys, including property surveys and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in the principles and practices of computer-aided drafting.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction specifications, and relevant regulations.
- Awareness of industry-specific safety protocols and practices.
- Ability to manage office operations effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain strong communication with both staff and clients.
- Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Professional Land Surveyor license.
- Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in these states within six months of employment.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to travel to various project locations.
- Capability to access and navigate construction sites and job areas.
- Proficient in operating motorized equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions.
Compensation:
