Endoscopy Nurse Job Description

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse to join its dynamic team at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. As a key member of the Endoscopy Lab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of endoscopic procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Intra-Op, or Post-Op nursing is highly desired.
  • Minimum 1 year of OR, Endo, PACU, or critical care (ICU/ED) nursing experience is required.
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
  • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required; ACLS & PALs for Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA to be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
