Job Description

At ADM, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tests on product from various sources, including the oven, packing line, blower trucks, and railcars.
  • Record information in the Total Lab Client Program (TLC).
  • Inspect product during start-ups, shutdowns, and problem-solving at extruders.
  • Inspect and record oven leg magnet samples and flour samples turned in by employees.
  • Prepare textured vegetable protein (TVP) formulation reports and sterile sample bags.
  • Complete lab dailies from a checklist.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
