Civil Engineer Job Opportunity

HC Solutions Group is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our client's team in Lakeland, FL. As a Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including roadway, land, and hydraulic design.

Job Summary

We are looking for a self-motivated and professional engineer or EIT with experience in Roadway, Land, or Hydraulic Design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design standards and specifications, as well as federally funded projects.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with design teams as a designer on projects.
  • Apply knowledge in designing and developing projects.
  • Work collaboratively with others through the design and project development process.
  • Interact effectively with consulting firms, local government agency staff, and multi-disciplined staff.
  • Manage time, problem solve independently, and think critically.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • EIT or Professional Engineering License in Florida.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
  • 3+ years Civil Engineering experience.
  • Proven working knowledge of Microstation/InRoads, estimating software, and applicable scheduling and tracking tools.
  • Drainage/Hydraulic Design: Small Structures, Storm and Sanitary, Urban Systems, and/or Bridge.
