The Coalition for Responsible Community Dev (CRCD) is committed to empowering homeless transition-aged youth in South Los Angeles by providing them with access to necessary resources and support services. As a Housing Stability Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping these young individuals achieve long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Housing Stability Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of homeless transition-aged youth and connecting them with suitable housing options. You will also provide guidance and support to help these young individuals achieve their personal goals and develop the skills needed to maintain stable housing.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and identify suitable housing options for clients.
  • Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs) to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, including regular face-to-face contact and home visits.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery and effective resource allocation.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have 1-2 years' experience or related work and a Bachelor's-level Degree; or an Associate's-level Degree and at least 2 years' experience providing housing-based support services to young people facing multiple barriers to housing stability. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance are also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data tracking systems is required. The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications.
