As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide professional therapy services to patients and families, including direct counseling, crisis intervention, and coordination of community services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive bio-psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy and crisis intervention services to individuals and families.
- Supplies information and education about mental health issues to individual patients and to groups.
- Documents diagnostic assessment, intervention, and treatment data in medical records as indicated by regulatory standards.
- Provide support to area school systems with recommendations and attend meetings as needed.
- Ensure all performance improvement activities are managed and performed according to regulatory and accreditation standards, corporate policies, and related measures.
- Develop and maintain collaborative internal relationships and partnerships with co-workers, psychiatrists, and office staff.
- Develop and maintain favorable external relationships with vendors, contractors, and related resources.
- Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct, and communications represent the organization in a highly professional and ethical manner at all times.
- Masters of an approved Master's program in social work and successful completion of internship.
- Licensed in the State of Maryland as an LMSW.
- Compliant with LMSW Supervision requirement.
- 3 or more years experience in a healthcare setting.
