Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist Physician to join our team at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urology and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care collaboratively and patient-centrically.
  • Deliver care through various settings, including direct patient interaction in hospitals and clinics, as well as via telephone, video, or secure email when appropriate.
  • Take comprehensive patient histories, conduct physical exams, review medical records, and analyze ancillary data using sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and manage appropriate treatment plans, communicating effectively with patients, their families where appropriate, and the care team.
  • Provide efficient and compassionate care using a multidisciplinary approach through communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation.
  • Offer relevant education and counseling to patients and families to support the care plan, treatment, and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure safe patient care, sharing pertinent findings and information with the team.
  • Assist collaborating physicians with patient management in the hospital, adhering to care site policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics, documenting all actions in line with regulatory and care site guidelines.
  • Promote mission, vision, and values by abiding by service behavior standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and may float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business needs.
  • May be required to be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
