Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Associate to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our Residential Rehabilitation Program, you will provide psycho-social rehabilitative services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assist members with various activities of daily living skills, such as shopping, budgeting, food selections, safety skills, mobility training, and more.
- Maintain a minimum caseload of at least 3-5 clients and complete documentation on time.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to provide comprehensive care.
- Effectively communicate through written and verbal formats.
- Perform case management duties, including procuring and linking clients to community resources.
- Drive a 7-12 passenger vehicle as needed.
- Conduct one-to-one and group sessions to teach Activities of Daily Living skills.
- Engage in outreach with clients in the community to promote integration and independence.
Requirements:
- High School Degree/Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with the mentally ill.
- Valid Maryland State Driver's license with a maximum of 2 points.
- Valid CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Ability to perform basic computer Word functions.
- Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
