Dishwasher Steward

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher Steward to join our team at Ozark Mill LLC. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clean and sanitize all cookware, dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with our company's standards.
2. Perform assigned prep work, including peeling, dicing, chopping, and assembling finished products.
3. Keep the washing area and kitchen floor clean and free of debris.
4. Store clean items in their designated locations.
5. Assist with recycling procedures and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and write simple sentences and recognize similarities and differences between words.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic arithmetic operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems in standardized situations.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to wet and humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. The noise level is usually loud.
