Pulmonologist Physician

We are seeking a skilled General Pulmonologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients with chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancers, and other disorders.

• Manage the care of patients with chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancers, and other disorders.
• Coach patients on management of their illness, including lifestyle changes and medication adherence.
• Perform bronchoscopy and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic lung disease, including COPD and asthma.
• Provide consultation services for patients in the hospital for all pulmonary services and sleep issues.
• Treat patients with narcolepsy, pneumonia, and influenza.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
• Manage respiratory illnesses, including sleep apnea and thoracentesis.
• Manage ventilator care and critical care services.

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school.
• General Pulmonologist experience or training required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
