At Sysco, we're committed to providing safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicles for our fleet. As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our vehicles are in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs to prevent breakdowns and reduce vehicle downtime.
- Diagnosing and repairing complex issues with electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and other critical components.
- Mentoring and teaching junior technicians to aid in their development and advancement within the company.
- Working collaboratively with the fleet management team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. You'll also have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
