Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of carpentry, ensuring our schedules and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rebuilding and restoring properties from water, fire, mold, sewage, and board-up jobs
  • Performing drywall work, including hanging, taping, and finishing, as well as framing, painting, and trim work
  • Reading blueprints and providing material take-offs and costs associated with carpentry
  • Interpreting client requests and providing mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work
  • Managing 1-4 laborers and/or carpenters
  • Installing cabinets, moldings, stair components, and exterior trim/siding
  • Ensuring high-quality finishes and maintaining a clean and safe job site
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry
  • 5+ years of experience in rough carpentry preferred
  • Experience in remodeling a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of power tools and equipment
  • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary to deliver projects on time
  • Capable of climbing ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
  • Ability to use smartphones and tablets effectively
  • Good communication and leadership skills
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
  • Evenings or weekends may be required to respect client deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and passing a background check required
