Job Summary

A ProPeer Case Intake Coordinator position is a full-time, hourly role with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Depending on client demands, Case Intake Personnel may work beyond 40 hours, receiving overtime pay at time and a half. ProPeer Case Intake Personnel are responsible for receiving incoming cases from clients and assigning them to reviewing physicians. They will organize, prepare, and post cases to physician portals, ensuring proper due dates and times are provided. Case Intake Personnel will make decisions regarding billing time allotment, pay rates, assigned specialties, revised due dates, and overall case identification.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Frequently check company portal, email, and postal mail for incoming cases.
  2. Accept cases over the telephone and via portal from clients in a professional and prompt manner.
  3. Add a note to the case notes, "working" the case.
  4. Use logic and reasoning to determine whether a case will be accepted by the company and send a professional response to the client.
  5. Use logic and reasoning to chronologically determine and organize cases, assigning sensitive due dates and times following step-by-step protocols.
  6. Use logic and reasoning to determine and assign fees for charged services using the billing algorithm provided.
  7. Ensure the due date is at least 1-2 days prior to the due date for preparation before sending.
  8. Highlight, log, data-entry, and assign cases to reviewing physicians.
  9. Communicate with clients regarding review needs.
Requirements
  1. Arrive at work on time and ready to work every workday.
  2. Utilize a computer, printer, and telephone for business purposes only.
  3. General Typing Skills at 65wpm or better.
  4. Data Entry 10 Key Skills at 5,000kph / Data Entry Alpha Numeric Skills at 10,000kph.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 (or more recent).
  6. Ask for help when needed.
  7. Support others in a team environment.
  8. Observe and respect the organizational flow of the office.
  9. Sign and abide by the confidentiality agreement and ProPeer Employment Handbook.
