CARE Counseling, a part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a skilled Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Twin Cities, MN.

This role offers flexibility in the number of billable hours/hours worked per week, allowing you to balance your work-life schedule effectively. You can choose to work onsite or adopt a hybrid work model, with at least 2 days on-site required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular intakes, diagnostic evaluations, and prepare treatment plans while engaging in appropriate client therapy practices and following guidance from supervisors.
- Build effective therapeutic alliances, supporting each client's unique needs and goals, leading to positive impacts on client outcomes and retention.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and modeling as it relates to individual goals, treatment plans, and diagnoses.
- Respond to crisis interventions, stabilization, and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional and/or behavioral responses, prioritizing client safety.
- Accurately document all client interactions as required by law, ethical standards, board regulations, and CARE Counseling policies.
- Provide one-to-one supportive counseling, observe client behavior, physical and emotional symptoms, and perform behavioral management interventions as needed.
- Participate in creating a positive atmosphere with other staff and clients.
- Attend group consultation, team meetings, and other meetings, demonstrating preparation, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Continuously improve client care standards through manager and leadership feedback.
- Maintain a full client caseload and additional responsibilities as assigned, resulting in an average quota of 28 points weekly or designated work model.

Required qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science/related field, an active clinical license, and basic understanding of Microsoft products. Preferred qualifications include experience in outpatient mental health, clinical documentation, and diagnostic assessment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
