Work Schedule: The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including nights, days, on-call duties, and some weekends, totaling around 48 hours weekly.
Work Location: The primary workplace will be at Womancare Greentree, with potential travel to various locations as necessary.
About Womancare Associates South: As a branch of Womancare Associates, we operate six offices, where our dedicated team of physicians, midwives, and advanced practice providers collaborate to deliver comprehensive care throughout the Pittsburgh area. All deliveries occur at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, fostering a collaborative environment between midwives and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and support during labor and delivery.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical training.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Identify and implement improvements in care delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Midwife.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
