Maintenance Technician II

C&W Services, a leading provider of Integrated Maintenance Solutions, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Operations Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Preventative Maintenance: Complete routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Track and store department inventory to ensure accurate records and efficient operations.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across all Operations facilities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment, and 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Skills: Metal and wood fabrication, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, and knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- Education: Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Experience: 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field, experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards, and experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Physical Abilities: Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
- Work Environment: Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures, regularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.
