Position Overview:
We are looking for a CT Imaging Specialist to join our team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality and efficient care to all patients.
As part of our exceptional team, you will:
- Operate imaging equipment to capture radiographs of specific body areas.
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Develop and process imaging films.
- Utilize mobile imaging equipment in various clinical settings.
- Apply knowledge of age-specific patient needs in your duties.
- Mentor and orient new staff members.
- Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
- Maintain a safe environment for administering contrast materials.
- Adhere to Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in Radiology or MRI preferred.
- Specific training and experience in CT scanning is advantageous.
- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- ARRT certification in Radiology and CT is preferred.
