At Merit Health River Oaks, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the operations of our Women's Services department. As a Women's Services Department Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team of nurses and staff, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and guidance to multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management.
- Address patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Supervise and direct the work of nurses and staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Take administrative responsibilities, including budgeting, planning, and implementing policies and procedures.
- Lead and direct the work of others, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a hospital setting.
- Licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
