Job DescriptionIn the Endoscopy Procedural Department at Cleveland Clinic Tradition, you will provide direct patient care to patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures, including EGD, upper and lower colonoscopies, ERCP, and EUS. Your strong assessment and critical thinking skills will enable you to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety and advocacy.
- Use strong assessment and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of RN experience in an Endoscopy Procedural Room.
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to patients.
