Telemetry Nurse Job Description

Mercy is seeking a skilled RN to join our team as a Telemetry Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify potential health risks
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and analyze patient data to identify trends and patterns
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 1 year of RN experience, preferably in telemetry
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • ACLS or PALS certification may be required depending on the unit
