Property Claim Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Claim Trainee to join our team at The Travelers Indemnity Company. As a Property Claim Trainee, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving property claims in a timely and efficient manner.

• Investigate and evaluate property claims to determine coverage and damages
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses
• Utilize innovative technologies to streamline the claims process
• Negotiate and convey claim settlements within authority limits
• Write denial letters, Reservation of Rights, and other complex correspondence
• Manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases
• Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of insureds, agents, and internal customers

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work or customer service related experience
• Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer-centric response to all assigned tasks
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail ensuring accuracy
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Analytical thinking and judgment/decision-making skills
