Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images of the heart and its functions using ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for examinations by checking equipment and managing inventory of supplies; review patient schedules; check physician orders for specific examinations; set up ultrasound equipment.
  • Examination Procedures: Explain procedures to patients; answer patient questions; provide assistance to examination tables or treadmills.
  • Image Acquisition and Analysis: Position patients for examination; spread gels; attach electrodes to chest and equipment; adjust equipment controls; verify wave signals; use ultrasound equipment to examine heart valves, chambers, and record images.
  • Data Recording and Reporting: Record examination information by printing graphics and data; calculate measurements of heart wall, chamber size, and blood flow direction and velocity; compare measurements to norms; provide data images and analysis for physician review.
  • Abnormal Finding Reporting: Report abnormal findings to physicians for immediate action.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Associate's degree in Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or graduate of an accredited school for non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in echocardiography and/or vascular studies; registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) – Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
  • Experience and Licensure: Minimum one year recent experience; current state certification or state license; active AHA BLS Certification.
