Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Host to join our team at Boyd Gaming. As a Restaurant Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they arrive and thank them for their patronage upon departure
  • Make decisions about where large groups of customers will sit in the restaurant
  • Direct and instruct dining room personnel on customer needs to ensure fast and quality service
  • Ensure customer requirements are met, including special needs or requests for accommodations
  • Fulfill payment for all restaurant checks and adhere to cash handling SOP's and variance policy
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area before, during, and after shift
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
  • Full working knowledge of MICROS POS
  • Serv-Safe certification
  • TIPS or RAMP certification
  • Knowledgeable and adherence to all PLCB regulations
