We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care, including care and comfort, vital sign recording, personal care and hygiene, and mobility.
- Act as a liaison between patients and nurses, reporting changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Provide high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors, and employees.
- Accurately document patient care and maintain accurate, precise, and timely records.
- Recent experience in acute care and/or long-term care facilities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly with healthcare team members.
- Understanding of patient and healthcare safety standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and transmission-based precautions.
- Basic hygiene and activities of daily living care skills.
