Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sentara Northern VA Medical Center. As a PRN/Flex MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI examinations with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain a safe and organized MRI operational area
  • Explain examination procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation
  • Manage supply inventory and maintain adequate stock levels
Requirements:
  • CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT certification
  • 1 year of experience in a Rad Tech position, including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound
  • Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program or graduate of 24-month program in radiologic technology
  • 6 months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred
  • Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire
