Infosys is seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our Insurance Practice (Domain Consulting Group) in the P&C domain (Personal and Commercial lines).

Candidates should have experience in Guidewire skills and have worked in Maintenance and Support projects in GW BillingCenter in On-prem or Cloud/SaaS versions.

The role requires client coordination and deep functional or insurance (P&C) industry expertise, especially on Personal and/or Commercial lines.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in Guidewire projects in Personal Auto & Property, and Commercial Auto and Property LOBs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New Jersey, USA or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Guidewire Skills:

  • Strong functional & Technical understanding of Guidewire Billing Center (On-Prem or Cloud).
  • Guidewire experience with policy, claim life cycles, and transactions in Guidewire is an added advantage.

Configuration Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire BC configuration, including Workflows, Data Model, Rules, Events, Entity, Creation/Modification, PCFs customization, Validations, Widgets, and their attributes.
  • Integration Mechanisms, Guidewire Data Model.

Customization & Integration:

  • Good knowledge of Guidewire BC customization and integration (Intra and Inter system integration) using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience in Incident and SLA management to support Production incidents.
  • Deliver the output based on the defined project KPI/Metrics.
  • Experience with batch processes, Guidewire Messaging framework, and OOTB plugins.

GW Cloud/SaaS Offerings:

  • Working knowledge on GW Cloud/SaaS Offerings, including GT Framework, Integration Gateway, Advance Product Designer (APD), Autopilot, Underwriting Workbench, and few others.
  • Experience in development, execution, and monitoring of project plans.
  • Experience in optimizing existing project plans and deliver project goals on time.
  • Working experience in implementation & AMS programs.
  • Experience with defect triaging, estimation, stakeholder management, and application enhancements.
  • Experience working on agile teams.
  • Knowledge of code review best practice (tools and techniques).
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective writing skills for drafting technical documentation and for explaining technical problems and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following skills in P&C domain - Scrum/Agile experience in an Agile Team environment.
  • Excellent understanding of how to operate in an Agile Team setting.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Applied experience with large-scale, complex IT projects.
  • Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Git repository and incident management tool (like ServiceNow).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint, and JIRA a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of projects.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
