Nurse Specialist: Antepartum Care

As a highly skilled Nurse Specialist in Antepartum Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby throughout the antepartum period.
Job Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant patients experiencing complications or high-risk pregnancies in the antepartum unit.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of maternal and fetal well-being, including monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and uterine activity.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers to support maternal and fetal health.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, perinatologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for antepartum patients.
- Educate patients and their families on prenatal care, pregnancy complications, and self-care techniques to promote optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.
- Current RN license
- BLS (other certifications as required by facility)
- 2 years of recent Antepartum experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
