Job OverviewWe are seeking a part-time contractor position with possible future full-time opportunities for a Virtual Weight Management Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary clinical team, you will work with patients to create personalized weight loss plans, leveraging our cutting-edge platform and expertise in nutrition, exercise, and obesity science.
Responsibilities- Manage a panel of 250 patients, providing exceptional patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment strategies
- Collaborate with dietitians, exercise specialists, and behavioral medicine professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Practice autonomy with administrative support, working with experienced ABOM-certified physicians
- Develop lasting and impactful relationships with patients, promoting positive attitude and encouraging personality
- Current PA-C license in Minnesota
- Current DEA license in Minnesota
- Ability to work autonomously and with a wide variety of patients
- Implement evidence-based treatment strategies, with a plus for PA Certificate in Obesity Medicine and experience with telemedicine and remote care
Compensation is based on patients seen and panel size managed in a contractor role, or FTE hours worked, including health, dental, vision benefits, and 401k in a salaried position.
