Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Services: Safely transport patients, medical supplies, and equipment to various locations within the hospital, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Supply Management: Ensure the proper handling and delivery of medical and surgical supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and tracking systems.
  • Central Service Support: Assist with the processing of used equipment and trays for reprocessing, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Mail and Package Delivery: Process and deliver postal and inter-office mail, packages, and specimens in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including Central Supply, Mail Room/Messenger, and Patient Access, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift objects over 100 pounds, perform moderately difficult manipulative and gross body coordination skills, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues, patients, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
