Position OverviewThe Enrollment and Financial Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting leadership with the development and execution of the admissions and recruitment strategy. This position is responsible for managing daily office functions, implementing marketing strategies, and overseeing promotional communications. The coordinator actively recruits, assesses, and engages in the selection process for prospective candidates.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Enrollment and Financial Services Coordinator is tasked with attracting and enrolling highly qualified candidates into the pre-doctoral program at the School of Dental Medicine, while collaborating on the daily management of admission processes under the supervision of the Admissions Manager. This role also serves as a liaison to the Financial & Enrollment Services Administrator, aiding in financial aid and enrollment operations for graduate and professional students within the School of Dental Medicine.
Core Duties Include:
- Designing, organizing, and executing admissions events and materials, including application collection and review, interview coordination, and acceptance processes.
- Managing events for admitted students; overseeing admissions databases and ensuring adherence to required admissions practices and regulations.
- Collaborating on financial aid collection and processing, as well as student enrollment and credentialing.
The coordinator continuously evaluates, analyzes, and suggests enhancements to recruitment strategies and admissions procedures, acting as a partner and advisor to the relevant admissions committees. This position works closely with the Admissions Manager and serves as a point of contact for prospective and current students. Additional oversight is provided by the Financial & Enrollment Services Administrator and the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. Responsibilities may shift throughout the academic year based on departmental needs.
Physical RequirementsThis role involves significant mobility, requiring frequent walking to deliver materials to faculty, staff, students, and various departments across the campus. Some travel may be necessary, both locally and nationally.
