Job Summary

The Cafe Services Team Leader II is responsible for organizing, leading, and participating in food preparation and service operations at a school site. This includes ordering and maintaining an inventory of food items, as well as food service records, in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and lead food preparation and service operations at a school site
  • Order and maintain an inventory of food items and food service records
  • Ensure adequate inventory of food and related items that match established menus
  • Participate in food preparation and service operations
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and formal training in meal planning, nutrition, sanitation, business administration, cafeteria management, or a related field. Additionally, the candidate should have 4 years of experience in food service, with 2 of those years as an institutional cook or food production team leader.

The position requires a valid California Driver's License and a food safety manager certificate.
